Shinseungback Kimyonghun
Shinseungback Kimyonghun is a Seoul based artistic duo consisting of computer engineer Shin Seung Back and artist Kim Yong Hun. Their collaborative practice explores technology and humanity. Their work has been exhibited internationally including Ars Electronica Festival, ZKM, Vienna Biennale and MMCA.

Cat or human illustrates by the absurdity the effective limits of facial recognition algorithms by presenting two photographic compositions.
One gathers human faces recognized as cat faces by a facial recognition algorithm and the other, conversely, cat faces recognized as human faces.
